In power plant systems, actuators, in combination with valves, are used to control pollution, the flow of water for power and cooling, and other different control systems, aimed at optimizing the efficiency of the operation of an electrical power plant.
The environment in which they operate is subject to constant stresses and is exposed to a variety of chemical substances and high temperatures with an abrasive effect.
This type of actuator must also perform different movement sequences, including linear and rotary motions, thanks to pneumatic, hydraulic or electric power supplies.
For this reason the actuators specifically made for the Power Plant sector must be flexible and resistant, able to operate at high pressures and temperatures and withstand frequent stresses.
